New to Tai Chi? A Beginners Guide to Tai Chi can help.

Usually the thought of trying out Tai Chi comes to mind somewhere down your path of life. The natural curiosity of what really is Tai Chi and the visual images that we are accustomed to from television, online sources, or even seeing Tai Chi in action at a park can spark that interest. As we build that interest the next step is to try Tai Chi out for yourself and to see if it right for you. However, after teaching for many years and helping people of interest I found that one question can help as you begin your journey into Tai Chi. That questions is "What do you hope to gain from Tai Chi?"


5 Steps for Tai Chi Beginners:

Looking back and reminding myself of how I and others came to become interested in Tai Chi helped me put these steps together. I hope they help you as well in your journey. Check out the step in a more in depth description in our Beginners Guide to Tai Chi.





Here are the steps:

  1. Ask yourself what you hope to gain from Tai Chi?

  2. Try a it! Online or in a group setting.

  3. Set a Schedule.

  4. Keep an open mind, observe, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

  5. Keep challenging yourself.
